Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SONORAN SUMMIT AND CENTERPOINT SUMMIT?

Sonoran Summit and Centerpoint Summit are part of the same Circle & Soil retreat series and share the same foundational intention: restorative experiences designed to support nervous system regulation, embodied rest, and sustainable well-being.

The primary difference is location and environment, which naturally shapes the tone and sensory experience of each retreat.

Sonoran Summit takes place in the Sonoran desert and is grounded in the spaciousness, stillness, and elemental beauty of the desert landscape. Experiences are designed to complement the quiet, grounding nature of the desert environment.

Centerpoint Summit is hosted in a lush, green setting with access to water and is offered during warmer months. This retreat incorporates water-based experiences such as swimming, floating, and, when conditions allow, a floating sound bath. The environment tends to feel more fluid, cooling, and playful while maintaining the same restorative foundation.

While the settings and specific experiences may differ, both retreats offer thoughtfully curated wellness experiences, spacious downtime, nourishing chef-prepared meals, and a calm, supportive container for rest and reconnection. Guests are invited to choose the environment that feels most aligned with what their body and nervous system need at that time.

DO I NEED PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH WELLNESS PRACTICES?

No prior experience is required. All experiences are guided, optional, and accessible. Guests are encouraged to participate at their own pace and listen to their bodies throughout the retreat.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY LIKE?

Each day includes a balance of guided experiences, nourishing meals, and intentional downtime. Spaciousness for rest, reflection, and integration is built into the schedule so guests can move slowly and settle into the experience without feeling rushed.

WHAT FOOD IS PROVIDED?

Chef-prepared meals are designed to be nourishing, flavorful, and supportive of well-being, with an emphasis on anti-inflammatory ingredients. Dietary needs and allergies can be shared during registration, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Water and light snacks are available throughout the day.

IS ALCOHOL OR CANNABIS PERMITTED AT THE RETREAT?

Yes. Alcohol and cannabis are permitted where legally allowed, with intention and clear boundaries.

Our retreats are designed to support nervous system regulation and the benefits of anti-inflammatory living. For that reason, any alcohol or cannabis offerings are thoughtful, limited, and optional rather than a central focus of the experience.

Guests are encouraged to make choices that feel supportive to their own well-being and to notice how even a short period of mindful consumption, rest, hydration, and nourishing food can positively impact how they feel.

WILL PHOTOS OR VIDEOS BE TAKEN?

Photos or videos may be captured during the retreat for marketing or educational purposes. We are mindful of privacy and boundaries, and guests may opt out of media use by notifying us in writing prior to the retreat.

WHAT IF I FEEL OVERWHELMED OR NEED SUPPORT DURING THE RETREAT?

Support staff and facilitators are present throughout the retreat. Guests are always encouraged to take breaks, modify participation, or step away as needed. Your comfort, safety, and well-being are a priority.

DO YOU RECOMMEND TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Yes. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of unexpected changes.

WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?

This retreat is well suited for professionals, caregivers, and high-capacity individuals who feel overstretched, fatigued, or disconnected from their bodies and are seeking meaningful rest and restoration.

Many guests work in helping professions, leadership roles, or high-responsibility environments and are looking for a grounded, well-facilitated retreat experience that prioritizes quality, care, and intention.

WHO MIGHT THIS RETREAT NOT BE A GOOD FIT FOR?

Sonoran Summit or CenterPoint Summit may not be the right fit if you are seeking a highly structured, activity-packed schedule, clinical medical treatment or therapy, or a party-style or nightlife-focused experience.

While we offer science-backed services and offerings to support nervous system and musculoskeletal wellbeing, this retreat emphasizes rest, presence, and intentional connection.

IS THIS A MEDICAL OR THERAPEUTIC RETREAT?

No. Sonoran Summit is not a medical program or a substitute for medical or mental health care.

While licensed practitioners may be present, all offerings are experiential wellness services intended to support relaxation, awareness, and overall well-being. Guests are encouraged to consult their healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns prior to attending.

CAN I ATTEND IF I HAVE AN INJURY, CHRONIC PAIN, OR PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS?

Yes, many guests attend with minor injuries or ongoing pain. Participation in all activities is optional, and experiences can often be modified.

This retreat is not a treatment center, but we aim to create a supportive environment and encourage guests to honor their bodies and participate within their own limits. Guests are invited to share relevant information during registration so we can support safety and accessibility where possible.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Full refunds are available through January thirty-first. After January thirty-first, all payments are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend after that date, fifty percent of your retreat investment may be applied as a credit toward a future Circle & Soil retreat, subject to availability.

CAN I TRANSFER MY SPOT TO SOMEONE ELSE?

Transfers may be approved with written notice. All transfers are subject to review to ensure alignment with the retreat container.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING? WHAT IF I FORGET SOMETHING?

Guests will receive a detailed welcome guide prior to the retreat with packing suggestions. That said, we aim to make arrival feel easy and supported, not stressful.

As Retreat Coordinator, I also act as a point of hospitality throughout the experience, similar to a hotel concierge. Water and light snacks are available at all times, and common-area amenities are provided.

Guest rooms do not include refrigerators or microwaves. If you need assistance with food, beverages, or comfort items, you’re always welcome to reach out. We are happy to help coordinate support, including limited room-service-style offerings or add-ons where available.

Our intention is for you to feel cared for and able to focus on rest rather than logistics.

HOW DO I GET TO THE RETREAT? IS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED?

Guests are welcome to drive themselves to the retreat property or utilize transportation support options.

Transportation can be arranged from Tucson International Airport or Million Air for private aviation. If you prefer not to drive on ranch roads, you may choose to park your vehicle at the airport and be picked up there by retreat staff.

The retreat property address is shared after your ticket is purchased to maintain privacy. Prior to the retreat, you will receive a call from the retreat coordinator to help coordinate arrival details and transportation in whatever way feels easiest for you.

Real advice and answers from past visitors

My work demands sustained focus and places significant physical strain on my body. I recognized the need for a meaningful period of restoration, not simply time away. This experience provided exactly that. The care providers offered thoughtful, skillful support that helped relieve accumulated physical tension while also addressing the ergonomic realities of my daily work. I left with practical, sustainable strategies for self-care and movement that immediately improved how I function. The follow-up support was equally impactful, reinforcing the progress made and allowing the benefits to extend well beyond the initial experience. I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my energy, self-awareness, and overall capacity to perform at a high level while prioritizing my long-term well-being.

I love my work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, but between leading a demanding career, raising three kids, maintaining a marriage, and growing a creative side project, I reached a point where exhaustion became impossible to ignore. Booking this retreat was a necessary reset. From the moment I arrived, the level of care was exceptional — every detail was thoughtfully handled, which allowed me to truly let go. There was nothing to manage, nothing to optimize, and nowhere else to be. I could simply rest, eat well, and tend to my mind and body. The food was outstanding — nourishing, beautiful, and genuinely delicious — and the cappuccinos alone were a highlight. I left feeling restored, clear-headed, and far more capable of returning to the life I love with renewed energy and intention.
